The Bonomi family has baked fresh breads and biscuits for dwellers of the Veronese Mountains since 1850. Today, tradition continues with their Amaretti classic, Italian almond cookies. I loved these cookies....can't get enough of them! Am going to crumble them as a topping for deserts or even try them as a crust (instead of gram crackers) for a pie. Packed with flavor!

Wow, overpowering flavor when taken alone. But, they truly come into their own when I've used them in some recipes for frozen Italian desserts.

FULL FLAVOR Treats
By Curly1963 from Rocky Mountains Colorado, USA on 3/7/2007
Pros:
Crunchy, Flavorful, Light and Crisp
Cons:
Bulky Packaging
Best Uses:
Great With Tea or Coffee, Snack
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this. It has a texture similar to Biscotti, being airy, crunchy, light but these are FULL of tremdous flavor. They are quite small, not much bigger then a quarter but the full flavor makes up for the small size. It suggests a serving size of 10 'cookies' but 2 were enough for me due to the very strong flavor, in a good way. This means they will last much longer :-)
