Too many crackers compete in either taste or texture with what you put on them. These wonderful crackers don't have that problem. They are initially very crisp, almost chip-like, and then melt away on your tongue. The only downside is they don't work with thick dips because they are so thin.

Not my first cracker choice
By professor in a small townVerified Reviewer from Lexington, VA on 10/7/2007

I read many positive reviews of this product before I purchased it along with two types of cheese from iGourmet. While I appreciate that the flavor does not overwhelm the cheese with which it is paired, the crackers have a strange way of dissolving in the mouth and the flavor is atypical of most crackers. I like to try new things, but I will not be purchasing this brand again.

Bottom Line:

These watercrackers are light, thin, and perfect. I like that they are low in fat and calories, making them a guiltless treat! The watercracker is perfect to eat with cheeses and pates, as the plain does not take away the taste of the topping and provides that delicate crunch. Spreading either cheese or pate does not work as you end-up with a handful of pieces, best to keep it in slices.

These are great little crackers. They compliment cheese so well. Considering how thin they are, it's great that they don't completely crumble. The black pepper crackers are my favorite.

Product lacked the black pepper taste. To use as a cracker for cheese spread it's to thin and broke into pieces when spreading.

The black pepper crackers have an excellent flavour and are great straightaway or with cheese. Compared to Carr's, which are bulky and do not have a lot of flavour, these are the best.
