unfortunately these weren't quite up to par. The walnuts tasted a little past their prime.

with cheese but cracker hides all but the strongest cheeses

I use these crackers as a base for many of the cheeses I have tried here. I like the walnut with its sweetness; the chilli crackers have bite; fennel was nice and delicate ; chive was good; and celery I didn't care for as they seemed bitter tasting and didn't esm to complement the huntsman cheese.
Comments about Specialty Crackers from The Fine Cheese Co.:
These crackers are wonderful, especially with the pairings recommended on the box. However, I have found that almost all flavors are great with any cheese or snack. Have tried all flavors except 1, and they are all amazing!

The subtle taste and texture of these walnut crackers harmonizes beautifully with the notes of a good cheese.

We tried the chile ones with some pepperoni, manchego + other cheeses, olives and wine. The chile flavour is noticeable and adds a mild spice, really good with stronger tasting foods.

Wonderful light spicy hints throughout. Great texture and mouth appeal. [...] they were well worth the price and very delicious.

These crackers are great by themselves, but even better with a really nice Aged Gouda or Piave Vecchio.

They were good. However I could have eaten the entire box in one sitting.

I think the product is great because it is a wonderful pick me up. You do not have to cook it or prepair it with anything to enjoy it.
Comments about Specialty Crackers from The Fine Cheese Co.:
Usually herb-flavored crackers have almost no herb flavor. These have a strong, pungent flavor of the herbs that we really enjoy. Don't be afraid to try these crackers with cheeses other than those suggested on the boxes. We like the celery crackers with cheddar, for instance (I think they're recommended for blue cheese).

These crackers are good by themselves or with many kinds of cheese.

What a great idea! Each cracker pairs perfectly with different types of cheese. As my husband and I like ours stinky, blue or goat, we adore the fennel, walnut and celery (our favorite!). The charcoal ones are striking and were the atlk of our wine party.

Would not order again, bad basil only since the taste couldn't last as long as required to finish package.
