This is an artisanal wafer - like sweet biscuit. Tegole was created in 1930 by a small group of local bakers from Valle d'Aosta, Italy. Through the years this fine biscuit has become a tradition within the Alps. Made from hazelnuts gathered from the Piedmont region, these addictive biscuits are all natural, with no preservatives.

Tegole are light, delicious, slightly sweet and perfect for snacking. Especially with a cup of coffee, espresso, etc. Because of the flavor I think they would be great with a sweet soft cream triple cheese but they may be too delicate for spreading or dipping.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
perfect mix of nut and sweet tastes, with a wonderful texture. However, the packaging isn't adequate, about a third of the biscuits came broken and there were a few that were burnt.
