Pepperoncini is a bright red, thin Italian chilli pepper. It has a slightly sweet flavor with a medium zing of heat. Morelli has flavored their wheat germ Tuscan pasta with pepperoncini. I bought this product thinking it would be like some of the other flavored pastas I've gotten; this pasta beats them all; it's spicy and flavorful but I recommend using it w/a tomato based sauce as opposed to just olive oil or a butter/garlic sauce. The tomato based marinara sauces bring out the best flavor.
