Lirma Foods packs these little pillows of soft potato and wheat flour dumplings known as gnocchi in vacuum bags so they do not need refrigeration. These are made in Italy in true Italian fashion for your enjoyment.

Here's a great sauce idea to try with these light, little gnocchi: In a large saucepan melt 2 tablespoons of butter together with crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and 1½ cups of milk; add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil for 5 minutes, and then simmer for 15 minutes, add a little oregano and minced parsley. Serve over cooked gnocchi add a bit of grated parmesan cheese. Mmmm…delicious comfort food!

I made a recipe from Giada with this -- mixed with a cream sauce and spinach, topped with chevre and Parmegianno Regianno and baked. Yum! I liked this so much better than any other gnocci I had ever bought I immediately ordered two more packages. I gave one to my daughter, but am hoarding the other.

Taste just like it came from a top Italian restaurant. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Good! I mixed this with a wonderful cheese sauce and served this with a simple chilled itallian salad and bread and it was delicious. MaMa Mia, datsa nice.
