Morelli Pasta factory was founded in 1860. Today, the fifth generation of the Morelli family, siblings Lucia, Antonio and Marco, continue to run the company preserving its traditions.

The secret to Morelli’s pasta is wheat germ. The heart of the grain itself contains vitamin A, vitamin D, as well as vegetable protein. During the normal cereal grinding process, the wheat germ is removed from the semolina in order to reduce the perishability of the product, which means that pasta factories are forced to process the flour without the wheat germ. But thanks to the methods used by the Morelli pasta factory the fresh wheat germ is re-incorporated into the semolina.

Their pasta has a unique and delicious taste, releasing a wonderful aroma in cooking. The cooking water, taking on a slight green hue, is the result of the presence of the fresh wheat germ.

Their latest flavor is Lemon and Black Pepper Linguine. This all natural pasta is made with durum wheat semolina, wheat germ, powdered black pepper, natural lemon aroma, and lemon juice. Perfect with chicken and seafood. We particularly love the lemon pepper flavor of this linguine tossed with shrimp or scallops.
