Since Nirmala Narine (talented author of In Nirmala's Kitchen) was a child growing up in Guyana, South America, she has focused on mingling the fragrant spices of her Indian roots with the bold flavors of the West Indies and South America. Nirmala has spent the past ten years traveling to spice plantations, local farms, and bustling marketplaces in search of exotic ingredients for her original recipes.

Brazilian Pink peppercorns have a fragrant, sweet, and spicy flavor. They go well in fruit sauces, desserts, and vinaigrettes. The rich rose color adds shimmering elegance to any cuisine.

Comments about Brazilian Pink Pepper:

A sprinkling of these in chicken salad really makes the flavor pop. A few crushed add a bit of mystery to hearts of palm salad and shrimp and crab Louie!

Comments about Brazilian Pink Pepper:

Wow! I ordered these as they looked like they would be quite pretty as a garnish, I didn;t realize what joy I was in for! These lovely little peppercorns have a really unique flavor. They don't need grinding as they are soft enough to chew and add a little something to almost anything. I order two packs the next time around as I find myself putting them in almost every meal in some way. A few ideas below, all of which just require a bit of a loose grind in finger tips:
-on salads
-great snack with cottage cheese
-mahi mahi lightly roasted with lime and pink peppercorns
-vodka infused with pineapple and pink pepper
corns, about a week does the trick (just did that this week and got a huge thumbs up from all)

Comments about Brazilian Pink Pepper:

Very fragrant pepper. It is a little moist and tough to grind finely. However, it imparts a wonderful heat and fragrance.
