I have this salt in a crock pig by the stove. The product is very flavorful!
Customer service is the key. The shop emailed me to give me the choice of coarse ground, since the shipment of fine ground was delayed. Very thoughtful, and even "delayed" was pretty quick! Well done.
The above comments say it all.
Of all the seasalts I have tasted, this one is the best, so far.
This salt has a great flavor, is lovely to look at and is the perfect size, not too coarse, not as fine as table salt.
i never use refined table salts so this just suits me fine! it will not turn dishes a funny color the way black volcanic salts do, so don't worry!
Sea salt is now the only salt I ever use. This is especially tasty sprinkled over edamame (soy bean pods) right before serving. I buy the coarse grind and "grind" my own using a mortar and pestle when I want the finer, table salt grind. This is an outstanding sea salt at a very reasonable price.

As somewhat of a self-described connoisseur of sea salt, this Alaea Volcanic Red Sea Salt is the best I've tried. I keep check on my supply and as soon as it begins to get low, I have to visit [...] again. The foods I prepare in my kitchen just seem to have a better flavor since I've used it and compliments from guests are a given. It is especially good on fresh vegetables, e.g., stir fry dishes, where the salt is added after cooking.

This sea salt is perfect for finishing a dish, or putting on the table during a dinner so that my guests can season their own food as they like.
LOVE IT! makes for a great presentation when sprinkled over pats of unsalted butter for bread... wonderful color and fabulous taste
