Experience an outlandish taste sensation with this incredible mix of Oregon hazelnuts, sesame seeds, peanuts, coriander, cumin and other spices. Mix this Egyptian-inspired blend with dipping oil, such as extra virgin olive oil, grapeseed oil, or go the traditional route with avocado oil, and serve as a tasty dip for bread. It is also great as a delicious coating when baking fish or fowl.

For more than forty years, and since I left Egypt I haven't eaten Dukkah. Strangely enough for the last year I had it in my mind. I wanted to eat it and finally found it on igourmet. I really enjoyed it as a snack.

Comments about Dukkah:

I found this an interesting variation on Middle Eastern dips. It is not overly salty. However, I don't know that I would pick it over Zatter (Zatar) as a dipping sauce for bread. Perhaps I would prefer it as a coating on chicken.
