Smoked paprika's use in cooking is almost endless. It adds an extra level of flavor to chili, soup and stew; sparks up sauces, scrambled eggs or omeletts; and makes deviled eggs or spiced nuts deliciously different. Essential to a Spanish sauce named romesco, smoked paprika complements many Southwestern dishes as well. Rub it on meats to add a subtle, smoked flavor without actual smoking. Sprinkle it over rice, potatoes or casseroles. Finally, try drizzling olive oil flavored with Pimenton de la Vera over steak, chicken, fish or vegetables. Varieties sold separately.

I tried it with with a number of dishes including stewed chicken and tuna salad. A little goes a long way and adds a very distinctive, slightly sweet, smokey flavor.
This product lends a great smokey flavor to my vegan and vegetarian dishes. I got both the mild and the hot and am pleased with both.
Puts a big WOW where regular paprika goes. Great spicy zinggy flavor.
[...] has an amazing smoky scent and flavor.
I use this in my salsa. AWESOME! The flavor is fantastic, smokey and mysterious.
I love the piquant, smokey flavor!! Will never go back to the usual paprika. Gives a grand depth, and earthy flavor.
Great addition to a salmon rub recipe in place of regular paprika.
Interesting, smoky taste.
We made a Peruvian chicken recipe that was on "CBS's Chef on a Shoestring" a few weeks ago. We made one batch with picante and one with duluce. Bot recipes were excellent. We will be looking for other recipes that use this spice.

Great flavor addition. I had never been able to find this locally and it is terrific. I am finding all kind of recipes to add this unusual flavor to.
This type of paprika was hard to find [...]. I had a few recipes that called for it and boy does it make a difference over the sweet paprika! You really have to try it - it is like a hidden secret someone has let you in on. You'll be glad you have this on hand!
We used it on turkey and chicken and it was good, not overpowering. Nice smokey flavor.
I am going to try it on other dishes now.
For those accustomed to cooking with pimenton de la vera, rest assured that this is the real thing--no more stuffing your suitcase with tins when you can get it here. Newcomers must realize that once you cook with pimenton, you will never submit to the insipid tyranny of grocery store "paprika" again. Uses are too numerous to enumerate, so buy a few tins at a time.
I used this product to make Smoked Almonds for Christmas gifts. I was very satisfied. [...]
