I grew up in the South using molasses as a sweetener for many foods. Try it in chili for a deep, complex flavor. It goes especially well with tomato-based dishes.
This particular molasses is something truly special. It is the best I have ever used, and not by a small margin. Comparatively expensive? Yes, certainly, but small quantities go a long way. Try it. You will not regret it.
