Grandpa Lundquist's ingredients for the spice mix that makes the base of the classic Scandinavian winter warming drink, glögg, are all in this little bag. Grandpa found just the right mix of prunes, raisins, citron/orange peel, apricots, almonds and spices to create this authentic drink for his friends and family. Now you can do the same.
By adding this heavenly smelling fruit and nut mix to water, sugar and some port wine (or fruit juice for a non-alcoholic beverage) then simmering and straining it, you will have a delicious, warming drink for the holidays or after that skiing or sledding party.
