These watermelon rinds have a quality known to lovers of American Heritage foods that tastes like they came from mom's pantry. The packaging is exquisite and I make use of that for including these simple American foods with up-scale foods to showcase both the old and new...

These were okay. But they aren't even close to my Grandmother's watermelon pickles. The sad fact is I am searching for the impossible. A watermelon pickle that can hold its own against Gramma's. On thier own though, these were good pickles.
