Peaches were first grown in Georgia in the 1700s. After the Civil War, Georgia peach growers developed superior varieties which boosted the industry and made it the “peach state”. Available for only 12 weeks a year (mid-May - early Aug.), this fragrant fruit (a member of the rose family) is available year- round in preserve form. Prissy captures that unbelievable “right off the tree” taste. This is her most popular preserve. It is all natural and contains no artificial additives or preservatives.
