This product is lovely with cheese but also excellent on English muffins with butter. I love that it is so different from ordinary jams and marmalades.
If you are doing a cheese course at your next dinner party, add this to put it over the top.
I have enjoyed this in Italy several times. [...] The product was flavorful, but old and had turned sugary. Don't let this keep you from trying it again if it is fresh.
Tasty and unusual, but a little too sweet and not as complex a flavor as I'd hoped to go with Spanish cheeses. We found the grainy texture a little off-putting, also a little difficult to easily spread without making a mess. Nice, but probably will continue to search for other quince spreads.
I have found several other jams that are less sweet that I thought went better with cheeses. This would be very good for other uses but I bought it thinking it would go well with cheeses and I don't believe it does.
One of most enjoyable jam I have tasted.
Fantastic with Pecorino's and aged cheeses. Similar to the Spanish Membrillo yet with more floral notes. A big hit at out last cheese tasting.
Quince was new to me. The tase was sugary sweet. No surprises and no complexity and no excitement. Just OK with cheese probably better for cooking maybe like a pork chop glaze.
I like to try food that is a bit far afield from my usual tastes, and never having tasted quince jam before and since it was on sale, I gave it a shot. I definitely lucked out. It was delicious, with a delicate fragrance one doesn't often get from jams.
enjoyable
This is such an interesting product. We ate it as an accompaniment to tapas...cheese, breads, ham...delicious!

Bought this for my husband who loves Quince Jelly. I've been unable locate any at the supermarkets so I thought I'd give this product a chance. He likes the taste very much but would prefer a more "jelly-like" texture as there has been some difficulting spreading it on bread without tearing it.
