Do you or your children have a sweet tooth? Or are you trying to stay healthy by eating your five portions of fruits and vegetables each day? If so, slow-dried fruits are ideal, created from the choicest fresh fruit. Each pack contains at least two portions towards your target of five. You can enjoy them straight from the packet - or add them to muffins, cakes, breads, cereals, winter porridges and summer salads. They'll add flavor and vitality to any meal.

The best table-quality fresh fruit from all over the world is selected for Southern Alps Slow Dried Fruit, then it is simply washed, cut, and dried…that's it! No sugar, no preservatives, no nothing. What's left is the full flavor of the fruit. The result is the full rich taste of fruit - just as nature intended.

These slow yellow figs were the Gold Medal winner at the Great Taste Awards 2007 and are grown only for Southern Alps… they're quite unlike any other figs you will have ever tasted. You'll get a good dose of vitamins and minerals from these tasty treats.

These are the first yellow figs I've had, small and very sweet. Good in salads, fruit breads, or rehydrated on pizza with prosciutto and blue cheese.

Very chewy and hard, not much to the bag for the price. Even so these were still a tasty little treat. I might add them to a trail mix.
