This product is really, really sweet and tastes like sugar, not figs at all. It does have suspended fig flecks in a jelly-like pectin but it has high fructose corn syrup as one (it's the first) of it's THREE sugar ingredients. If you like the taste of figs, spend the extra money and buy a higher quality fig preserve like Dalmatia which is finely chopped figs with orange.
