Located in:From the Garden, Honey
Among the lush hills of Tuscany, IL Forteto gathers its premium honey. Acacia Forteto honey is made from nectar collected from spring-blossoming Acacia trees, resulting in pure, clear honey. Drizzle over a slice of Tuscan pecorino or a piece of gorgonzola. The sweetness is a perfect balance to the tang of these and other salted cheeses.

The honey is absolutely delicious on Southern biscuits - a very light taste. Also tasty drizzled over cheeses served with fruit for desert.

Cons:
Expensive

The picture on the webiste is slightly misleading. You would think the honey is very dark in color. But its quite the opposite, its very light in color. The honey has a very ordinary taste. Nothing different. If you love honey and have money to spare, this is not a bad option.
Otherwise stick with the clover honey from the stores. This honey is good as a topping on ice creams, desserts, good for baking or for justing licking up with a spoon.
