Most of today's apiculturists (beekeepers) are descendants of previous generations of the same trade. It is not the type of career someone not connected to the business normally enters. Our wonderful lavender honey comes from a respected family that has been in the honey business since the 1700s. Honey tastes of the flower from which the bees predominantly gather nectar. They move the hives to different locations to create different honey flavors. As a result of careful planning and releasing, this honey contains the subtle flavor and aroma of lavender. Our lavender honey is light in color, while mild and fragrant in the mouth. Perfect for flavoring tea and in desserts, you will especially enjoy some drizzled over ice cream.

Smooth and delicious!

Pros:
Flavorful, Healthy
Cons:
Perishable
Best Uses:
Eating
Describe Yourself:
Simple Tastes
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I will definitely order this again. The consistency is thicker than most American honey, but that's part of what makes it unique. The color is also much lighter (as seen in the photo, being a "blond" color). The only thing I didn't like about it is that you really cannot taste the lavender! A bit disappointing, but still a taste experience worth having!
