Valley Produce Co. was established by passionate, renowned Australian chef, Christopher Smith. He uses many ingredients from the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia which is renowned as one of Australia's most prestigious food and wine regions.

The base of this amazing golden honey is Red Gum and Clover Honey from the Yarra Valley. The flavor of this honey is the perfect foil for truffles. Valley Produce Company infuses two grams of fresh French Perigord black truffles with white truffle oil to produce a truly elegant honey. Unbelievably good drizzled over blue cheese and prosciutto.

This is a real treat for your taste buds. Serve it with a cheese plate - I drizzled it on manchego, and it's great with blue cheeses also. It has a mild but delicious truffle flavor that mixed with the sweet honey makes for a delicious taste sensation. This is my second jar, and it won't be my last!

I used this honey to drizzle over a wedge of Grana Padano - Stravecchio Oro del Tempo. It was just perfect. The honey is smooth and made a perfect compliment to my cheese choice.

We drizzled this over a strong blue cheese and ate it with a good glass of French red...Yum! Although it was a little too earthy/barnyardy for my husband, I absolutely loved it. I think the flavor is probably too strong for Gorgonzola or other mild blue cheese though.
