Cal Valls is a family owned and operated company dedicated to organic agriculture in the quiet farming town of Vilanova De Bellpuig in the Lleida province of Catalonia. A lifelong vegetarian, Manolo Valls has committed himself to the elimination of pesticides, herbicides and other harmful chemicals and, in the process, has become a pioneer for organic food production in Spain.

Arbequinas are small, round, brown olives originally from the district of Lleida. They have a unique sweet, nutty flavor, making them perfect for snacks.

These olives are preserved in water and sea salt with a sprig of fresh thyme. No caustic soda or dyes were used the preparation of this product.

Goes well with any drink. I don't over-snack like on chips and peanuts; but, I still get that salty snack experience.

to be honest i dont like green olives at all.But last year when i was in barcelona i had these from the market and they were the best thing since the hamburger.. i could not stop eating them .I had another brand from i gourmet and they were wonderful just how i remembered . But i wont be ordering these ones again, they were no different then eating a regular green olive. The good news is igourmet had no problem with me returning the other 3 bottles.

At a recent party given, these were passed over. I am an olive lover and felt I was getting more pit than olive; also a bit tough.
