Kalamata Olives are gently smoked over oak chippings, then steeped in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The smoking process makes the olives tender, smoky and delicious, without being salty or sour. A great bonus is that the olive oil adopts some of the smoky notes from the olives, and can be used to whip up fantastic scrambled eggs or sauteed veggies.

Enjoyed these unique olives with a light supper of Greek salad, Italian flatbread, taramosalata and a hearty red wine. The smokiness adds a subtle distinction to the olives, and it's a situation where it's hard to stop at even a few! Could see these as being a real hit at a party too.
