I love good olives, but so often you either find cheap, pitted olives or good-quality olives with pits that require a bit of fussing to remove the pit. These were a great find! True to the Calabrian's love of all things spicy, there are a few hot cherry peppers in the mix. These were just as delicious as the olives!

I received these as a substitute for some whole olives I ordered. They were terribly disappointing - bland and oily. No flavor at all, not even a nice green olive flavor. Just tasted like bland oil. We like olives for snacking, and these won't do. I am going to try cooking with them, but generally use olives in cooking to add tang or saltiness, so I do not have high hopes. If you want good olives, keep shopping!
