With the delights of Portuguese food increasingly drawing attention in the culinary world, there has never been a better time to send this charming and tasty gift.
  • Sao Jorge is a tangy cow's milk cheese from the volcanic island of the same name in Portugal's Azores archipelago. (8 oz.)
  • Dom Villas is produced in small, three to four pound square blocks. Somewhat fruity with a soft, springy texture, Dom Villas is made from Friesian cow's milk. (8 oz.)
  • Bica raw farmhouse cheese from Portugal made from a blend of cow, goat, and sheep's milk. Bica has a distinctive, yet mild, buttery flavor and a satiny texture. Like most Portuguese cheeses, Bica has a slightly salty flavor because its milk comes from animals that graze on land that sits by the sea. (8 oz.)
  • Smoked Trout Fillets imported from Portugal, they are slightly salted and have a rich, slightly smoky flavor. They are packed in pure olive oil in an easy open tin. (3.7 oz.)
  • Portuguese Sardines are unmatched in quality. They are cleaned by hand, grilled, then preserved in extra virgin olive oil. (3.7 oz.)
  • Alentejo Nuts & Honey is a rosemary dominant flora honey with whole almonds. (9.28 oz.)
  • Da Morgada Tomato Jam is made from seasonal, vine-ripened tomatoes carefully cultivated in the ecologically pure farmland region Alentejo in the southeast of Portugal. Perfect with crusty bread and Amarelo. (8.57 oz.)
  • Piri Piri Hot Sauce is a classic Portuguese condiment. Its flavor is intense, authentic and unique, yet it does not set your mouth on fire. (8 oz.)
  • This basket is elegantly finished with a premium ribbon. Hand-tied around the basket, the ribbon's woven edge is just one indication of the quality of its construction.

The cheeses are great... A bottle of Portuguese red wine would have been welcomed! I know that Portugal has great wine.
