This collection of eight incredible cheeses, accompanied by two sleeves of imported water crackers, is packed in a keepsake copper-colored panier, making its appearance as striking as its concept. The following eight cheeses combine to create the ultimate basket of cheese:
  • Royal Blue Stilton: Arguably the world's greatest blue cheese, this "King of English Cheeses" is well known for its firm, crumbly texture and cheddary, honeyed flavor.
  • Dorothea: Van Dijk's award-winning goat cheese is flavored with potato skins and basil oil.
  • Crotonese: This ewe's milk cheese from Calabria's Crotone region is sweet and tasty. It's a very wine-friendly cheese that also pairs well with grapes and figs.
  • Mahon: Produced on the Mediterranean island of Menorca, Mahon is ripened in underground caves for at least 60 days. Savor its bold, magnificent, slightly salty flavor.
  • Oltermanni: A wonderful snacking cheese from Finland that pairs perfectly with salami and fruit.
  • Red Leaf Cheddar: Made in Canada, this cheddar is the result of 150+ years of cheese making expertise. Aged over 12 months, it is tangy and quite nutty with a beautifully sweet aftertaste.
  • Camembert: For those who like it rich and creamy, this bloomy-rinded cheese oozes when cut into and pairs perfectly with crusty French bread.
  • Beemster Classic Extra Aged Gouda: This Dutch masterpiece always finds its way into our specialty cheese collections, and for good reason. Loaded with hints of butterscotch and nuts, this 18-month aged gem will surely be enjoyed!
Each cheese weighs eight ounces. Copper basket includes all eight cheeses plus two sleeves of imported water crackers.
  • Please note that any item temporarily out of stock will be substituted with a similar item of equal value.

She loved the gift and so did I!! Everytime I go over I ask for the cheese and crackers, and IAM NOT EVEN A BIG CHEESE FAN. This was a great product. There are no cons.

This was a great holiday gift because it was all cheese without all the filler items that so many baskets have. Just need to add another size - a little smaller for less [...]. I would buy both sizes for gifts. There is always a variety of folks that you want to spend more or less on for gifts.
