This collection of eight incredible cheeses, accompanied by two sleeves of imported water crackers, is packed in a keepsake copper-colored panier, making its appearance as striking as its concept. The following eight cheeses combine to create the ultimate basket of cheese:

Mahon: Spain's 2nd most popular cheese. Made on the island of Menorca, this cow's milk cheese is cave aged for at least 60 days.
Cranberry Chevre with Cinnamon: Fresh, tangy chevre from Quebe c topped with cranberries and a touch of cinnamon. Perfect for holiday entertaining.
Pecorino Crotonese: From Calabria in southern Italy, it's a pure sheep's milk cheese with a sweet, salty flavor.
Swiss Emmentaler : The classic cheese from Switzerland, aged 4 months. Essential in everything, from sandwiches to Fondue.
Regina Blue: This new specialty from German Cheesemaker Paladin has an extremely mild and creamy flavor. Its extravagant richness is due to the fact that the cheese has a 65% fat content.
Shamrock Cheddar: Shamrock Cheddar is aged for over 12 months and has a creamy, taut texture and sweet, grassy flavor.
Camembert: For those who like it rich and creamy, this bloomy-rinded cheese oozes when cut into and pairs perfectly with crusty French bread.
Beemster Classic Extra Aged Cheddar: This 18-month Dutch masterpiece has been enjoyed in Holland for over 800 years.

Each cheese weighs eight ounces. Copper basket includes all eight cheeses plus two sleeves of imported water crackers.

This basket is elegantly finished with a premium ribbon. Hand-tied around the basket, the ribbon's woven edge is just one indication of the quality of its construction.

Got this for Xmas, and our family snacked on it for several days. The blue cheese we received was not the Atalanta, but was very good (and stinky), just the same. The crotonese was also very good, as was the cheddar. My only complaints might be that one or two of the cheeses started to get stale within about two days, even though I'd sealed each in their own ziplock, and that the havarti was just "meh" compared to the others. Almost like a processed cheese spread. If you're a fan of funky cheeses, this makes a great gift. The crackers that come with it are just so-so, I'd recommend getting some other/better ones.

I got this as a Christmas present for my boyfriends mother who is very hard to please. She's not into anything! Fashion, perfumes, makeup, so this was really hard for me. She loved the gift and so did I!! Everytime I go over I ask for the cheese and crackers, and IAM NOT EVEN A BIG CHEESE FAN. This was a great product. There are no cons.

I actually ordered two of these. One for myself and one for my daughter and family at Christmas. The Dorothea was a wonderful surprise. The cooking cheeses were fun to try. I savored every bite. There was more than enough to share with all my friends. What great fun!

This was a great holiday gift because it was all cheese without all the filler items that so many baskets have. Just need to add another size - a little smaller for less [...]. I would buy both sizes for gifts. There is always a variety of folks that you want to spend more or less on for gifts.
