Nodine's Juniper Smoked Bacon: Bacon smoked with real Southern juniper berries and hickory hardwood, creating a truly unique Black Forest flavor. Nodine's Smokehouse Inc. was started back in 1969 as a small custom smokehouse in Goshen, Connecticut. (16 oz.)
Hickory Smoked Virginia Bacon: The Edwards family has produced Virginia's finest hams, bacon, and sausage since 1926. They still use Pop Pop's curing recipe and still smoke bacon the way he taught. (12 oz.)
Vermont Maple Cured and Cob Smoked Bacon: Melow, smooth smoke flavor with a finish of Vermont maple syrup sweetness (12 oz.)

I just love bacon, and all three of these are just delicious. I used the Vermont Bacon for a "bacon wrapped water chestnut" appetizer for a party last month, and everyone complemented me on them!

Not worth the price. Boar bacon had off aroma and flavor. The nitrate free bacon had virtually no flavor. Nitrate free should not mean flavor free. The Vermont bacon had flavor, but shrunk quite a bit, but did not live up to the claimed "finish of Vermont maple syrup sweetness'.

We haven't tried all of the varieties, but I can tell you that the wild boar bacon is quite fantastic! It is different (in a good way) from your standard bacon. It's a new taste sensation that I can highly recommend!
