Lumpfish caviar is an excellent alternative to pricier Caspian Sea varieties. This specialty caviar is a perfect addition to a gourmet meal; used as a substitute in recipes calling for the more traditional roes. It also makes a beautiful garnish, especially alongside sushi. Originally from Iceland, ours is from neighboring Sweden.

Comments about Red Lumpfish Caviar:

I ate this caviar with cream cheese on a cracker. It was really good...not too salty or too bland. It was so reasonably priced, it would be easy to buy it often.

Comments about Red Lumpfish Caviar:

This perticular caviar was great for my son's wedding. I had smoked salmon of every flavor and color. I put this in the center of the platter and it looked beautiful. People that hated caviar didn't know that's what they were eating because it wasn't black. They were surprised and wanted to know what kind it was and where to get it. It was a hit!
