Located in: Meats/Seafood, Cured Sausages
In keeping with the French tradition, these exquisite cured sausages are made from only the most carefully selected cuts of meat and the freshest herbs and spices. Unlike lesser competitors, high heat curing is not applied to these sausages, which is why this product is not hard and flavorless. Also, no extenders or binders are used in their manufacture, which are commonly added to lesser brands to reduce shrinkage. The use of these additives destroys the natural flavor of the saucisson and makes it necessary to add artificial flavors. Rosette de Lyon is the classic sausage; a full two and a half pounds of flavorful meat. Ideal for parties.

Comments about Rosette de Lyon:

A few months ago I dared to predict that soon [...] will feature the real amazing bottarga. As I was proven right, I now dare say that while eagerly anticipating the inclusion of real Hungarian Pick salami and the fatty French, domestic Rosette de Lyon is a terrific stand-in for the foreign import. This salami is not for the faint of heart and teeth, as it is chewy, sharp, flavorful and real, in the sense that it does not hide it's true origins. Nibbled by the slice or inside a crunchy baguette, Rosette de Lyon offers great taste and value for money.
