Abruzzo's cuisine is flavorful and rustic. Just east of Rome, this rural region is well-known for its hearty flavors and spicy entrees. Marc Antony Foods transported their classic Abruzzese sausage recipe from Italy to Syracuse, NY, twenty years ago.
Using choice cuts of fresh pork and all-natural seasonings, these sausages are smoke-cured with chili pepper (peperoncino).
