This premium Canadian ham is prepared in the classic French tradition in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, a small town that lies between Quebec City and Montreal. The hogs in Cap-de-la-Madeleine are naturally raised with no growth hormones or steroids, which is a rare occurrence these days. Their premium-quality hams are hard-carved from the leanest, most tender part of the animal and are 99% fat free. They are delicately coated with unique blends of herbed and spiced marinades and slow cured to develop a full, rich flavor and uniform pink color. We offer two popular flavors - Baked Black Forest and Honey. Each ham weighs approximately seven pounds, making one perfect for a Sunday dinner for the whole family, a party on the weekend, or a team picnic. Varieties sold separately.

We received a black forest ham as you were out of the original order. It was actually 8 lbs, and really beautiful. I divided it and froze some. It was just as good even tho it had been frozen.

I picked the Black Forest and have never tasted a more perfectly seasoned ham. I always think that they should have "done this or that" to make it better, but not with this one. It was simply great! I totally understand why it is "out of stock". I'll be looking forward to purchasing it again! Thanks.

This is a must for gatherings where you would like to make a wonderful impression and share a fabulous meal with others, while requiring an absolute minimum of work. Leftovers (if there are any!), freeze up wonderfully for a quick meal later. Wonderful as a morning meal with leftover asparagus, eggs, and a bit of hollandaise...

The "Black Forest" ham was served to dinner guests with a simple glaze (sweet bourbon-mustard)with rave reviews from all. This ham is all meat with a great taste that is not over bearing. I will purchase this again.

I opted for the "Honey" variety of this ham -- and served it today for Christmas dinner. I'm thrilled with how it turned out. It has a very slightly sweet taste -- very delicate and subtle. The texture is as near to perfect as you'll find in a boneless ham. It's not too salty, either -- a complaint I have with other smoked hams.

My family LOVED it -- they're still talking about it. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing this again.

The taste was great. We used it for a main meal, then sandwiches and I cut it in chuncks for entertaining. It lasted us through the holidays and I even froze some for later. We are only a family of 3 so the ham went a long way. The price is right too!
