Located in:Meats/Seafood, Small Fish
Fresh from the Cantabrian Sea, these famous white anchovies are lightly cured in a brine of sea salt, white wine vinegar, and garlic. Unlike most other anchovies, boquerones are neither excessively fishy nor salty, making them ideal for eating as a snack or tapas. They are renowned for their delicate flavor and best served with crusty bread and olives. On top of their wonderful flavor, boquerones are an excellent source of Omega 3 oils.

Nasty

Cons:
Bad Flavor, Bad Texture, Smell
Best Uses:
Will never use it
Describe Yourself:
Simple Tastes
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I eat regular anchovies frequently. These were terrible. The smell was one of ammonia and something rotten. I rinsed the can, put the product down the disposal, after which I had to deodorize same. I love your spanish anchovies and the others but will never use this product. This was a poor experience.

The Boquerones were excellent! Our favorite way to enjoy them is simply on a crisp baguette. Although we also like traditional anchovies, the taste, texture, and character of the Boquerones are an entirely different taste treat.

I gave these to my sister for part of her Christmas gift. She opened them and served them to the family. These are so good, even the anchovie "haters" liked them.
