Brittany is famous for its sardines. The strong tides and treacherous currents along the rocky Atlantic coastline produce a sardine with a firm flesh well known to French gourmets.
Connétable is probably the oldest operating fish cannery in the world. Since 1853, they have been canning sardines in the port of Douarnenez, south of the Crozen Peninsula. Six generations later, Connétable is still family owned and maintaining the tradition of quality and natural ingredients.

Sardines are rich in Omega 3. This is just an added bonus to these delicious, flaky, plump sardines. They are tender, not too salty, and buttery in flavor. Choose between lightly smoked or unsmoked. Both are packed in extra virgin olive oil.
