Their factory is situated in Måløy, right beside where the fishing boats land their catches. Their skinless, boneless salmon is packed in a lightly smoky oil and is perfect for salads or sandwiches.

Comments about Norwegian Gold Salmon in Oil:
I have had wonderful experiences with this product, save for one bad batch which was well within its product shelf life but fell short of the usual quality I have otherwise seen. That said, this is an excellent, versatile product. I use it mainly for salmon salad, but its possibilities seem endless due to its tenderness and moist, flavorful mix-ability. It could be used in casseroles, appetizers, or any recipe that calls for an easily mixable salmon.
