Comments about Merguez Sausage:

I love lamb but find it hard to prepare well. This product gives me the lamb taste, with an added Mideast flair, without having to fool with bones, cauls, etc., as with the typical leg of lamb. I expected it to be a little spicier than it turned out to be, but still a good choice with couscous, lentils, rice.

They shrunk to 1/4 of original size

Comments about Merguez Sausage:

I was seriously disappointed in these -- they shrunk down to nothing. They were so pumped full of water and fat that when I gently poached them they nearly disappeared. They are a poor value.

I think they are only ground lamb and harissa anyway; you can easily mix those ingredients yourself and produce something much better, fresher.

Comments about Merguez Sausage:

These merguez sausages were the perfect addition to an Algerian couscous, a stew of tender fresh vegetables, served over bulgur, accompanied by chicken, lamb chunks and, of course, these sausages. They lent the dish a very authentic flavor.

This sausage was excellent with sauteed onions and peppers with pasta on the side. The lamb was delicious, low in fat, and smelled simply wonderful. I will be purchasing more of this product!
