Don't get us wrong, this is a good steak. But, at[$] per pound, good does not get it. For comparison, we cooked a rib eye we had bought at the local market on the same fire. All three were flavorful & delicious. There just is not much of a difference, and certainly not enough to warrant paying almost 10x more for the Wagyu beef. By all means, try it yourself, and please post your thoughts.

This streak was absolutely fantastic. It was well marbled when it arrived and the fat melted during the grilling turning the steak into a butter flavor. I cooked at 6 minutes each side on the grill to a medium. Marinated it 30 minutes at room temp with worchester sauce and salt and pepper for some added flavor. I would more than likely buy this again and entertain people that enjoy a high quality steak. [...]

Have you ever had a steak that you don't remember chewing? That was what eating this was like. Melt in your mouth. The steak was tender and well marbled. You could feel the difference just picking it up to put into the pan. Please don't over cook this steak it would be such a loss. The best steak I have eaten in over 40 years....but unfortunately also the most expensive.
