The bird's genetics can be traced back to the 1800's, ensuring a true “heritage” bird. Calculate one pound per person. By buying a Good Shepherd Turkey Ranch Heritage Turkey you are supporting a network of independent growers, preserving endangered lines of turkey breeds that you must eat in order to save, and ensuring humane animal treatment. These turkey farms are the first to receive Animal Welfare Institute's Animal Welfare Approved certification.

Thanksgiving Orders will ship the week of November 23rd.
Turkey should be cooked or frozen by Saturday, November 28th.

A big price tag for a turkey but outstanding results. Final prodcut was moist and flavorful. If you want to impress this is the bird for you

My only problem with this order was that the "18-22" pound turkey arrived at 17.5 pounds. BUT, this was the best turkey I've had and my mom said the same. Every one loved it! I will continue to buy my T-day turkey here :o)

I WAS NOT PLEASED [...]. IT WAS NOT COLD. THE GIZZARD AND THE HEART WERE NOT INCLUDED. I LIKE TO ADD THOSE ITEMS TO MY GRAVY. THE TURKEY WAS NO BETTER THAN BUTTERBALL TURKEY THAT I COULD HAVE PURCHASED AT THE LOCAL GROCERY FOR A [$].
