This is the third year I've bought a heritage turkey. Each time I've fried it for different people and everyone loves it. It is more tender and flavorful than the butterball. We even did them side by side one year. Everyone ate the heritage. Hopefully the price will drop but it's only once or twice a year and the family's worth it.
