The Germans are well known for their great beer. No other nation has a purity law for beer or as many different breweries. In fact, about 80% of all the breweries in the E.U. are in Germany. Bavaria, thanks to Oktoberfest in Munich, has catapulted the association between beer and Germany in our minds. It was only a matter of time before the first original Bavarian Beer Vinegar would be created. It is made in the medieval town of Wasserburg, about 60 km. from Munich, by Robert Burkhardt Feinkostwereke. It is made simply from naturally fermented Bavarian beer. Use beer vinegar for all dishes and salads that pair well with a good beer.
