Located in: Oil/Vinegar, Olive Oil
This astounding organically produced extra virgin unfiltered olive oil hails from Tuscany. Rich in early harvested frantoio olives, Campo Corto is bold in character with an intense grassy aroma with a hint of artichoke and aromatic herbs and a peppery finish that is truly incredible on the taste buds. The olives are grown in the Chianti hills of Badia a Coltibuono's medieval home, handpicked and processed the same day they are harvested. Enjoy his robust, rustic extra virgin olive oil on roasted meats, pork and hearty sausage, salami, prosciutto and fettunta or make a bruschetta of freshly oiled grilled country bread. Campo Corto is Coltibuono's oil “con brio” - with Tuscan backbone.

Comments about Campo Corto Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

I bought this to make salad dressing and it's good but it didn't "wow" me like I wanted it too. I will try another EVOO once I'm done with this bottle.

Comments about Campo Corto Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

This was ok, I was expecting a big "wow" factor. I make my own salad dressing and I'm looking to really bring it over the top. For a [$] bottle of EVOO, I thought this would do it. It's not bad, but I'm going to try the Ravida EVOO next time.

Comments about Campo Corto Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

simple salads or breads that let the very rich olive taste dominate. So cloudy, so intense in flavor, it should not be obscured in complex sauces or recipes. This oil is well worth the money and I was very skeptical.
