Mustapha's Moroccan Extra Virgin Olive Oil is pressed using 100% Picholine Olives grown in the foothills of the Atlas Mountain range. It is generally acknowledged that Moroccan Picholine olives produce more flavorful olive oil than their French cousins. The flavor opens cleanly with the flavor of ripe and green olives. The notes of green fruit give way to smooth and buttery notes of ripe olive on the tongue. It envelops the palate and finishes with hints of creaminess and a slight pepper finish at the back of the throat. Mustapha's extra virgin olive oil is rival to any French produced Picholine olive oil at a much lower price! Moroccan cuisine is considered one of the most important cuisines in the world. Over the last two millennia, the indigenous Berber peoples have endured invasion and conquest, each culture that came left its mark on the land, its people, their cuisine, from the first Phoenician traders to the last of the French colonizers. A wealth of culinary creativity and the amazing quality of the bounty of ingredients from the everyday to the exotic make Morocco a culinary mecca.

dissapointed is the word

Comments about Mustapha's Moroccan Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

I too was dissapointed in this oil. I have tried many of mustapha's olives and other products and they were all excellent! but for some reason this oil is just lacking. it would be fine in a salad mixed with vinegar but for just the taste of it alone, it's rather boring.but please don't let that tarnish your view of his other products. try them they are are fantastic!

Comments about Mustapha's Moroccan Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

I am a big fan of picholine olives so I was looking forward to this olive oil. Unfortunately it has almost no flavor.

It works just fine for anything you don't want an olive oil taste with but I can get that with rice bran oil for much less money.

Comments about Mustapha's Moroccan Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

An excellent, mild olive oil. This oil tastes more buttery than olive-ey, so if you're looking for something smooth to dip your bread in, this is the one, but if you want a spicy oil with lots of flavor, you might try something different.
