The Cetrone Farm is located in Sonnino, a little medieval town in the territory of Latina, situated in the hills of Monti Lepini, 500 meters above sea level. Since 1860, the Cetrone family has cultivated olives and made olive oil. Their 20,000 ancient olive trees, mixed with local almond trees, are exclusively local Itrana olive trees.

The influence of the sea air, hot Mediterranean sun, rich rocky soil, altitude, and the extreme care and attention in the production and processing determines the quality of their extra virgin olive oil. To make Fruttato Intenso, the olives are picked in November and the beginning of December. The oil is extracted at low temperatures the same day that their olives are picked. The result is the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Fruttato Intenso. As the name suggests, it is rich and green with warm golden reflections. The flavor is fruity and intense. You can feel the green apple flavor and the sensation of artichoke and sage. With an acidity of less than 0.2%, this amazing extra virgin olive oil is ideal for dipping, or drizzled on smoked fish, carpaccio, crustaceans, in soup and for grilled meat.
  • Cetrone Extra Virgin Olive Oil just received a prestigious certificate from the French Gourmet food show, as the WORLD'S FINEST OLIVE OIL.
  • The Italian government, designates only 10% of total olive oil produced in Italy as true Extra Virgin. Their olive oil has been selected as the best Extra Virgin olive oil in Italy for two consecutive years.

Great tasting! Smooth and fruity flavored with a rich golden green color. It comes in a beautiful bottle complete with complimentary pourer & dispenser provided by the Cetrone's. Expensive but worth it.
