Comments about Tiger Fondue:

We regularly enjoy the fondue bazaar at The Melting Pot in San Antonio. However, for a quick meal at home this product is convenient and enjoyable. We add a touch of brandy, kirsch, nutmeg, and pepper to taste. With small pieces of french bread, and a nice white wine we are back in Austria, Switzerland, or Combloux, France. Easy to prepare and soooo eay to enjoy.

Sadly, I can no longer locate this excellent cheese fondue mix. The secret is the white wine and kirsch (cheery) brandy that is in the mix. Great price as well.

Great price for an ok base product - add some low-salt cheese, pieces of a peeled potato and some lemon to counteract the saltiness of the product, add some kirsch, white wine and garlic cloves to your taste - and voila!

Comments about Tiger Fondue:

I wanted an appetizer that I could put on a separate table at a holiday party that would be interactive as I invited guests from two separate group listings. As hoped, the guests surrounded the table and got to know each other as they dipped various breads and sausages. It was a retro item that generated interesting conversation.

TIGER FONDUE IS THE CLOSEST YOU'LL GET TO AUTHENTIC FRENCH TASTE WITHOUT ALL THE FUSS OF DOING IT YOURSELF. THE CONSISTENCY IS PERFECT--CLINGS TO THE BREAD WITHOUT CLUMPING. MY HOMEMADE VERSION OFTEN SEPARATES AND CLUMPS--TIGER FONDUE IS THE BEST AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED. LIVING IN A SMALL TOWN, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ENJOY THIS TREAT UNLESS YOU MAKE IT YOURSELF.

Comments about Tiger Fondue:

My Swiss family loves this stuff and over the years we have used this product to introduce dozens of people (Americans and Australians) to the wonders of Swiss fondues. Sure you can make fondues from scratch that you might prefer but these packets contain a fondue that is relatively inexpensive and incredibly easy to prepare and that almost everyone will enjoy.
