The Delouis family began as a vinegar company in Limoges, France in the late 19th century. In 1976, they began making mustards in Champsac and with great success began to make fresh mayonnaises, dressings, and sauces. Their Bearnaise and Hollandaise recipes have been perfected from authentic recipes and adapted to the market without shortchanging the customer of their great gastronomic qualities: smoothness, rich in taste and so close to the real thing. They are made with pure fresh butter. Delicious and easy - just warm up these fresh sauces and serve.
  • The Bearnaise sauce is the perfect accompaniment to red meat and grilled fish or meat.
  • The Hollandaise sauce is the perfect accompaniment to asparagus, poached or steamed fish and white meat. This is not the classic Hollandaise with lemon. Instead, it is made with fragrant blood orange juice. This sauce is also known as Maltaise.

Better than my homemade Bernaise, by far, and no work at all! I spread it right out of the frig on hot steak or asparagus. What a treat!

Comments about Delouis Fils Classic French Sauces:

I first found this product [...] in Chicago and fell in love with it. Took some searching to find it online, but am so glad I did! These sauces are smooth and creamy and the Hollandaise is especially wonderful. The blood orange addition adds a terrific flavor. The bearnaise is thick and creamy and the tarragon flavor really shows, but isn't overwhelming. Both of these sauces are wonderful, if a little expenseive. I've used them both over seafood, chicken, steaks and steamed veggies.
