Killer Salsa is a Nevada original, founded by food service manager Fran Pritchard. Every morning she made fresh salsa for her breakfast customers to put on their eggs, potatoes and breakfast burritos. Her customers called it “Killer Salsa” and said she should go into business. Discovered by accident, this cheese sauce is real aged cheddar cheese mixed with Original Killer Salsa for a spicy nacho sauce. Served to Fran’s customers at a local arts and crafts show, they were disappointed when informed that it wasn’t in the product line. “Why not?” they wanted to know. So now Fran makes a nacho cheese sauce so good that it has earned the Killer Salsa name.
