The secrets to A Perfect Pear's success are that only the best quality natural ingredients are used, their products have no preservatives, and are made in small batches. We had the opportunity to sample some of their fine products at a recent show in California and were bowled over by how good they are. One of our favorites is this incredible Cinnamon Pear Syrup. Made with pure Vermont Grade A Medium Amber Syrup, natural pear flavor and cinnamon stick, this product received rave reviews at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco. It is wonderful on pancakes, French toast, waffles, cereal and muffins. Try it glazed on salmon or chicken. Pour a few tablespoons over a scoop of ice cream or cobbler.

This syrup raises pancakes, waffles and french toast to new heights. It is delicious. You don't need much - a little goes a long way, and it is delicious. A nice change from regular maple syrup; and a must to try if you are still using store-bought corn syrup maple flavored syrup!

Comments about Cinnamon Pear Syrup by A Perfect Pear:

I had high hopes for this but was disappointed. I think the cinnamon stick overpowers the syrup and gives it an aftertaste. It's not as thick as it should be and has to be refrigerated after opening. Heating it slightly made it completely runny and made the aftertaste worse.
