Half of items in basket were substituted without warning.
To be fair, there is a clause at the bottom of the description that states "Please note that any item temporarily out of stock will be substituted with a similar item of equal value", however, when checking out there is a box that asks if you would like to be contacted if substitutions are going to be made. I was not contacted, even though half of the 9 items were substituted. At least two of the substitutions were dramatically different that anything advertised. I am stumped as to why iGourmet would bother giving such elaborate brand name descriptions of each item if they are only going to send something else. For this kind of money I would at least expect a simple phone call or e-mail to ask if this many substitutions are going to be o.k. To top it off, I was forced to call customer service twice to ask for a receipt and even though the matter was "bumped up to a supervisor" I still - to this day - have not received a receipt for my order. To be fair, the quality of the items and time for shipping were all good but some of the items substituted were dramatically different than advertised and customer service needs to work on computer issues regarding the sending of receipts (and NO, the receipt is not in my spam box). Most of the customer service reps were friendly when I called and they sincerely tried to send my receipt. It the company's computer program that seems to be at fault. For on online company the computer is everything so this should be a serious matter.

Thrilled Recipient!
Received this as gift last month and just had to write and compliment both the appearance of the basket and the super items inside. So nice to be introduced to high quality American products when as foodies we assume imported is better. Thanks for showing off delicious American producers! I will be sending several for the holidays
