Upon some of the richest soils in the Pennsylvannia Lancaster County Area, September Farm's dairy herd is raised on forages all grown right on the farm. All of the milk is hormone-free and the cheeses are made with the finest all natural ingredients and free of preservatives. September Farm is a family farm with a dairy herd of over fifty Holsteins, where they take cheese making very seriously. Each batch of cheese is made on their Honey Brook farm following time proven traditions for the hand crafting, hand waxing, and aging of artisan-style cheeses.

Made in small batches, this cheddar has a smooth, tangy flavor with the distinctly sweet flavor of dried apples mixed into the curd. The cheese maker then rolls each 8 oz bar in cinnamon before packaging. Apple pie and cheddar cheese! Delicious!

Cheese for Breakfast
I don't use sugary jams on my breakfast toast, so this cheese is a great change from the usual peanut or almond butter. It's great melted just a bit on whole grain cinnamon walnut bread.

Savory and Sweet
We used to buy a "cider cheese" when we lived in vermont and this sounded very similar. I loved the bits of dried apple mixed through the cheese, while the cinnamon on the rind gave this a great smell when toasted on raisin bread. Will order again!

apple cinnamon cheddar
I have previously tried Grafton apple cheddar and loved it. I was very disappointed with this brand. There was not much apple or cinnamon flavor at all.
