Piave
: This cheese is named after the river Piave, whose source is found at Mount Peralba in Val Visdende, in the northernmost part of the province of Belluno, Italy. A winding course brings the river toward the bottom of the valley until it reaches the plain at the foot of the
prealpi venete
mountains in the province of Treviso. Piave cheese is born from the cheese making traditions of the land surrounding the ancient river, in which the curd is cooked and the cheese is aged until it is hard. The area surrounding the river is also where the milk is collected, and this special cheese is produced by a dairy cooperative called the Cooperativa Lattebusche. The cheese has a well-rounded, full-bodied flavor that increases with age and makes this cheese absolutely unique.
Grana Padano Stravecchio Oro del Tempo
: Stravecchio Oro del Tempo is a superior, 22-month aged Grana Padano produced by Agriform near Venice. This masterpiece compares beautifully with its better-known cousin Parmigiano Reggiano. The flavor of Stravecchio is intense and complex, with fruity overtones that evoke pineapple or strawberry, depending on the season. Like all precious things, every Stravecchio cheese is one of a kind, and each wheel is branded with a unique serial number. Agriform tests the quality of each wheel of Stravecchio every week until the twentieth month of aging. The end result of this rigorous testing process is that only the cheeses that deserve to become prime Grana Padano Stravecchio are stamped with the certificate of origin and guarantee. A true essential, Grana elevates a myriad of dishes, everything from antipasto to risotto, including dessert! (Try with drizzled honey or fine Balsamico).
Pecorino Romano
: Pecorino Romano is Italy's oldest cheese, dating back to ancient Roman times. This hard sheep's milk cheese is typically aged for one year and used as a grating cheese. Zerto Pecorino Romano, like most Pecorino Romano made today, is made in Sardinia where land and sheep are abundant.

Nice Gift
I purchased this as a gift for my daughter & son-in-law who had travelled in Italy and enjoyed tasting the different cheeses there. The cheese arrived in an insulated container 3 days after it was ordered. The lovely cheese bag held the 3 imported cheeses so the presentation was nice, the cheeses were flavorful, the brochure suggested uses and wine preferences which were helpful. I recommend this product.
