A Turducken isn't a meal - it's an experience! A Turducken is a semi-boneless turkey (only the wings and legs have bones, allowing the turkey to keep it's classic shape) stuffed with boneless duck, boneless chicken, cornbread dressing, and mouth-watering Cajun-style pork sausage. The Turducken is 15 pounds of meat and stuffing, so it will usually feed 20-25 (depending on your eaters of course). Although the Turducken is seasoned with traditional Cajun spices, the heat is very mild for the entire family to enjoy.

The Turducken is frozen in a vacuum-sealed bag to retain it's freshness and seal in the flavor. The Turducken must thaw thoroughly before cooking. For best results, remove from box and thaw in refrigerator for approximately 48-72 hours. To quick thaw, remove from box and submerge the Turducken in its vacuum-sealed bag in cool water. Change water every hour for approximately 6-8 hours. Once the Turducken is completely thawed, remove from bag and bake at 325 F, breast side up on a rack in a roasting pan, covered for 4 hours, then uncovered for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 F.

NOT GOOD! IT STUNK !
INstead of duck breast (which is what I order when i go out for duck...) they used chopped-processed meat by-product that smelled awful! If there was actually duck in it, I couldn't say. It looked like SPAM, but very tough SPAM. THis was awful stuff. And wrong stuffing was used which is bad because I don't eat wheat products. The turkey and chicken tasted as it should... very good. But with the smell of that sweaty SPAM product in the kitchen, it was hard to eat this stuff. Major BUZZ KILL. That said, the purchase and shipping process was very professional. My advice: Save your money! Cook a free range Turkey from a local trusted source and save $60. mjl

Outstanding
Decided to try something else for Christmas Eve Dinner. No one had ever had one before. All were very pleased and can't wait for next year so I guess we will just have to order another one and make up a special occassion. Order was received when promised.

Not totally my cup of tea... but I may try it again. However, the rest of the family was very satisfied the bird. Or should I say birds.

xmas gift
bought 12-14 for 12-16 delivery. Bought as mom's xmas present and xmas dinner. mom didn't recieve till 12-23 so she had already bought xmas dinner. She will try it new years day. Disappointed at delivery and had to call several times with you telling me you will call me back and you didnt. So I was nervous about delivery and your customer service was not as good as it should have been. I liked the fact that I talked to a live person relatively quick.

First Turducken
Product arrived cold with very clear directions for defrosting and cooking. We normally don't stuff chickens and turkeys, but the sausage stuffing really helped to keep the bird moist. For a "cajun" roast, the meat was well-seasoned but not too spicy. Everyone enjoyed trying the different meats and I made a nice pan gravy with the drippings.
